To put it boldly and simply, the Revol cocotte is the only dutch oven that I use in my kitchen.  It is light weight, goes from the freezer, to the stovetop, to the oven, and right to the table.  I compare how it cooks to the heavier enameled cast iron dutch ovens only it cooks more evenly and with more ease.  Cooking with french porcelain is an amazing experience, a pure pleasure, and it is such a beautiful piece to look at and serve in.  Like me, you will find every excuse to use this dutch oven everyday!  I must have in the kitchen.
