Crepes And More Crepes!
Instead of my regular pancakes, I made crepes for my Sunday breakfast! Yummy!
It has been a week of making sweet, wonderful crepes. I did an out of store event for a fabulous organization of women who work with the educational needs of women all over the country. What a blast! I demonstrated crepe making and served crepes for dessert! Crepes are perfect both sweet and savory. I love the sweet best, but I have made savory crepes stuffed with chicken and a cream sauce which was out of this world delicious! They are perfect for entertaining because they can be made well in advance and stuffed right before serving. They can even be frozen for future use. My favorite way to eat crepes is with melted butter and lemon zest or just melted butter and sugar rolled up with fresh fruit on top. Chocolate is another wonderful way to eat them. Really, you can let your imagination go crazy with fillings and toppings, the possibilities are endless! I love my crepe pans, but you can just use any non-stick pan for the job!
